Ladies at Lime Rock
On September 19th, 2005, a gorgeous late summer day, twenty two women left behind their jobs, their families and their inhibitions, and unleashed their thirst for power and speed!
These special women took part in deGarmo Ltd.'s inaugural "Ladies at Lime Rock": a women only day of professional racing instruction, made possible through an exclusive arrangement with the Skip Barber Racing School at famed Lime Rock Park race track in upstate Connecticut.
The day's events included Skip Barber's "Driving School" which teaches advanced driving skills and accident avoidence techniques, and the "Introduction to Racing" in the famed Barber Formula Dodge race cars.
The day was a huge success: the weather was picture perfect, everyone had a fantastic experience, bonds of friendship were forged, and the competitive fire was lit!
